BETF Director Ron Huff
Ron is the CEO and founder of Huff Innovative Solutions (HIS). HIS is a technology based company located in the Dallas, Fort Worth Texas area. HIS focuses on Network and Security Architecture, Delivery along with Transition and Transformations.
Ron previously held the position of Service Delivery Executive at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Global Network Delivery. He was responsible for the network delivery (end to end ownership), operational, tactical, and strategic direction of several large multi-million dollar HPE customers in the automotive, financial, life sciences, pharmaceutical, media and communications industry.
He was the Co-Chair of the HPE Black Employee Leadership Council (BELC), a global Employee Resource Group (ERG) with seventeen global chapters, and the Chair of the HPE North Texas Black Employee Network (NTBEN). Ron was appointed a member of the HPE North Texas Site Council by the SVP General Manager of HPE to ensure diversity was represented among the 5400 employees in North Texas. Ron was also a member of the Plano, Texas Mayor’s Diversity Council to represent the diversity efforts of HPE in Plano. Ron is a Management Associate member of the Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF) and active advisor to the Dallas Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA).
Ron is the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Kimball High School Academy of Engineering (AOE) in the Dallas Independent School District (DISD) that has over 250 active engineering students. Ron is a mentor to several graduate business students enrolled in the University of North Texas Professional Leadership Program (PLP). He is also an Information Technology Adjunct Instructor at Remington College
Ron enjoys working with nonprofit organizations and public speaking on topics of leadership, diversity, and inclusion. He has spoken to multiple audiences including K-12, Community Colleges, Universities and technology based nonprofit organizations.
Ron obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Hampton University, a Master’s degree from Liberty University and is currently a Public Policy and Administration Doctoral Student with emphasis in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.
