About BETF

BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit charity, founded in 1992 to support the education and technical programs of Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA). In May of 1975, Earl Pace, Jr. and the late David Wimberly founded BDPA. They were concerned that minorities, specifically African-Americans, were not adequately represented in the computer industry.

What we do

Our mission is to provide major financial support of the education & technology programs of National BDPA and its local chapters. We fund BDPA's Student Information Technology & Scholarship (SITES) program as well as the BDPA IT Institute.
